Catherine Teichman is a performer, writer, and composer. Since graduating from George Brown Theatre School, she’s performed in and created shows in Toronto, throughout Ontario, and across the country. Along with Rachel Moore, Catherine is the co-creator of Desperate Measures, a sold-out hit at the 2024 Toronto Fringe, and winner of the My Entertainment World Fan Favourite Award. As a composer, Catherine has contributed original music and sound design for shows at Carousel Players, George Brown Theatre School, and beyond, and is the co-creator of the new musical Amelia.

In addition to her work in theatre, Catherine has several years of experience in education and childcare, which has given her firsthand understanding of the Ontario Curriculum, and offered her another lens on how important access to the arts is for young people.
