Grades K-4

An auntie comforts her nephew, who's having a "blue" day. Auntie tells a story to comfort him and his depression. Animated in their imaginations, Auntie shares the story of a boy and his best friend whose world turns black and white and the mysterious force causing it. They encounter a monster in the closet and a giant in the forest, learning that postive language is one thing they can do to bring colour back into their world. "You're Sad So I'm Here" is all about finding the people in our lives that can help us up when we're down and accepting that it's OK to feel sad.
