Volunteer

Volunteer with us!

Roseneath Theatre accepts volunteers to work within our various departments throughout our season. Depending on the time of year, we look for volunteer assistance in the following areas: Production, Sales, Marketing and Administration.

The following types of volunteer opportunities are available:

Co-op placements 

Roseneath Theatre welcomes up to two high-school co-op students per semester. If you are interested in spending your co-op placement with us, please contact us at: admin@roseneath.ca.

Internships

Teacher Candidates

Roseneath accepts one Teacher Candidate from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto during the month of May. General job descriptions include assistance with writing Study Guides, assistance with networking with schools and school boards and promoting school performances.

University or College Internships

Roseneath Theatre works with additional University or College interns on an ongoing basis based on need and interest. Organizations that we have worked with previously to provide internship experiences include; Humber College, The Metcalf Foundation, Sheridan College and Theatre Ontario. We have also worked with Algonquin College and Humber College to provide client-based experiences for students in Graphic Design and Public Relations Programs. If you are an Instructor looking to provide a real-world experience for students, please contact us at admin@roseneath.ca to discuss how we can accommodate your project.

Ongoing Volunteers

Roseneath Theatre operates from a bright, cheerful office at Dundas and Dufferin where every day is different and there’s always hot coffee. We are looking for volunteers to do routine office work. You can volunteer a few hours a month or a few days a week but we ask that it be a regular commitment.
