Roseneath is dedicated to producing and developing Canadian content for Canadian audiences and beyond. Our productions feature curriculum-based content which aim to be both informative and creative while also including issues that are relevant to young audiences. By supporting Canadian playwrights and artists we hope to create new and innovative Canadian works that are inclusive and engaging for children and young people.
The Playwrights Guild of Canada supports a special initiative called “Scripted for Schools” to increase school access to Canadian plays and to demonstrate how dramatic elements may be used as a learning device. Roseneath’s Artistic Director Andrew Lamb took part in this video produced by the Playwrights Guild of Canada which discusses the “Scripted for Schools” program and the importance of students having access to scripts in the classroom.
